In case you missed it on Thursday morning, SONM Executive Director Randy Mascorella joined Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Director Barbara Baca to talk about the upcoming SONM Mayor's Indoor Track Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Competition begins at 9:00 a.m. and is free and open to the public.
Athlete name: Nicolas Licon Age: 9 years old Team: Special Olympics Rio Rancho Sports: Poly Hockey and Track and Field Highlights: Received one Gold medal and two Silver medals in Track and Field at the 2009 State Summer Games in Albuquerque. Competed in Track at the first annual 2010 SONM Mayor's Indoor Track Invitational in Albuquerque.
